Soul Types in Soul's Remnant: Energetic to Eternal
Energetic, Turbulent, Ambitious, Transcendent, Primordial, Chaotic, Eternal and Transitive souls — what each does and how to use them on gear.
What it is
Souls are monster drops with a low chance to drop from any monster, from a Slime to the most lethal boss. Higher-level monsters are more likely to drop every kind. Each soul use costs 1 Soul Crystal, and as long as an item's echo lines are not locked, you can use souls on it as often as you like.
The soul types
| Soul | Effect |
|---|---|
| Energetic | Adds a line until the item has two; then rerolls the first two. |
| Ambitious | Adds a line until four; then rerolls the first four. |
| Transcendent | Adds a line until five; then rerolls all five. |
| Turbulent | Randomizes one random echo line's value. |
| Primordial | Randomizes the chosen echo line. |
| Chaotic | Randomizes one main stat, one echo line, or the element type. |
| Eternal | Locks one chosen line for the next 5 soul uses; up to 2 locks. |
| Transitive | Destroys item 1 to move its echoes onto item 2 (same category). |
Notes
Transitive Souls destroy the source item completely and only work within the same equipment category; gem upgrades do not carry over. Exact per-tier drop odds are not yet confirmed — the developer has published a spreadsheet the wiki points to.
